Welcome to Wynding Brook Boxers!

Our kennel is named for the small dairy farm in central Pennsylvania that I grew up on and is a tribute to my Father.  My parents instilled a sense of hard work and a love of animals to each of their three daughters.   Each cow breeding was carefully planned by my Father who was so proud when the resulting offspring did well in the show ring.

My first experience with a boxer was one of those childhood memories that remains vivid to this day. His name was Cherry Boom and he lived with my great aunt and uncle.  I'll never forget that beautiful fawn boxer sitting in the corner of the breakfast booth, looking regal and melting my heart with those dark boxer eyes and expression. It was that memory and  our son's persistent urging that we purchased our first boxer, Tyson, in 2005 from Rick Tomita.  At that time, we thought it might be fun to try our hand at showing in conformation and begin a new hobby.  In a very short period of time, we found ourselves totally in love with this breed and the competition of the conformation show ring.

My husband and I will always remember our first ABC national boxer show (Kentucky, 2007).   We saw many wonderful top boxers all in one place and made some new friends. Best of all, we found Lira, our first boxer show dog and watched her in the ring as she placed in the Futurity!

We will be forever grateful to the many boxer friends that we've met in the past several years.  Special thanks to Rick Tomita, Betty Mentzer, Roxann Miller and Deborah Marshall for their expertise and guidance.

Wynding Brook Boxers strives to produce happy, healthy, and structurally sound boxers that will excel in the conformation, obedience or agility rings  and, most of all , as loving companions.

Hope you enjoy our site!
